The Royal Air Force's VC-10 XV109 fires up the engines to taxi over to the 30 run-up block (or 'engine run pad,' as the pilot put it). Of course, this all had to happen during a snow squall!
And this, while a little tough to see, is the leading edge of said squall. You can see the AML VOR clearly near the 30 threshold, but the whole west end of that runway is obscured from just after the tree line.
